GRADCORPS - Policy and Communications Coordinator Join to apply for the GRADCORPS - Policy and Communications Coordinator role at Government of Yukon . Job Summary and Requirements Reporting to the Director of Policy and Communications, you will implement the Yukon Liquor Corporation’s policy and communications objectives through research, legislative assembly and media monitoring, drafting policy and communications materials, and supporting social responsibility initiatives. This position requires strong writing and strategic thinking skills, with a passion for supporting the wellbeing and economic prosperity of Yukoners. This is a one‑year term from approximately April 2026 to March 2027. The salary will be 80% of the starting salary – $59,446 . Essential Qualifications Degree in Social Science, Public Administration, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Experience working with stakeholders on a project in a work or school setting is an asset. Experience writing in a work setting is an asset. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability Ability to draft communications materials using clear language. Ability to analyze and summarize research, think critically, and make recommendations. Strong organizational and planning skills. Computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work independently when assigned a project or task. Ability to collaborate with team members and external parties on a project. Analytical skills, including identifying, articulating and analyzing issues. Additional Information Be a resident of Yukon or a person of Yukon First Nations ancestry.* Have graduated with a diploma or degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution within the past two years (2024, 2025 or 2026 graduates – all requirements for graduation must be complete before internship start date). Have little or no work experience in your field of study. If you are a resident of Yukon who completed your studies outside of the territory, you may apply up to two years after graduation.
