Work outdoors with grapes as a Vineyard Worker at Vineyards West, supporting organic farming through cultivation, weeding, and harvesting. This on-site position offers training for applicants without experience.
Vineyards West is seeking a Vineyard Worker for rural, various-location work in viticulture. Duties include managing vines, guiding shoots, tying plants, and harvesting grape crops. The work occurs in wet, dusty, hot, and changing weather conditions, with no remote option.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate, weed, and harvest grape crops
- Maintain vines, vine canopies, and grapes
- Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
- Remove suckers and water sprouts manually
- Clear fields and clean work areas
Requirements:
- English language ability
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- No experience required; training provided
- Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
- Ability to handle up to 23 kilograms
Develop practical viticulture skills through grape cultivation, vine maintenance, and harvesting in an outdoor organic farming environment.
