**Job Title: Industrial Millwright****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various industrial production machineries.**Responsibilities**Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machineries.Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examine form and texture of parts.Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, and straightedges.Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.Assist with planning and closing the loop on work orders in Maximo.Record parts and materials used, and order or create requisition for new parts and materials as necessary.Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.**Essential Skills**Red Seal 433A Millwright License4+ years of Canadian Millwright experience in an industrial environmentExperience in heavy industrial environments such as concrete, food, Tier 1 auto (non-robot) plants, and metalProficiency in working with bearings, belts, and conveyorsExperience with mechanical devices and pneumatic controls**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Welding and cutting skillsComfortable working at heights**Why Work Here?**Enjoy comprehensive health and dental benefits with 80% coverage after 30 days of employment and a matching RRSP plan available after one year.
