Energy Consultant

Energy and Engineering Consultants are primarily responsible for planning, organizing and leading portions of an engagement. They are responsible for ensuring the quality of client deliverables and serve as competent, effective members of client delivery project teams.
- Completing and managing client work in accordance with established budgets, workplans, quality standards and time-frames
- Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients strategic and operational success
- Structuring and solving problems from beginning to end
- Leading client interviews to understand complex business issues
- Developing content for client presentations
- Providing implementation assistance as required.
- Meeting with clients to assure assignment progress
- Maintaining and expanding client relationships through delivery of high quality work
- Leading, coaching, developing and supervising efforts of junior staff
- 2-5 years of related consulting or industry experience showing progression
- Outstanding analytical capability and the ability to synthesize findings
- Demonstrate strong MS Office and data modeling skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
- An MBA or relevant advance degree from a credited educational institution
- Entrepreneurial, creative, imaginative, independent, motivated, professional and collaborative
- Applicants must be willing and able to travel to client work locations up to five days/week
The incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes:

- Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and clear effective communication tools and techniques.
- Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions to enhance the organizational effectiveness.
- Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
Working conditions vary from one job to another:
- Project Managers usually work in an office environment but the purpose of the project may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces.
- Project Managers work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
