Freight Sorter Warehouse Handler

Sort and scan freight in a FedEx Canada facility while loading and unloading shipments. This non-driver position emphasizes accuracy, strength, and training.

The Package Handler supports daily facility freight movement through loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting. Candidates with a high school diploma or GED, FedEx Canada operations knowledge, and Canadian Customs familiarity are preferred. Good interpersonal skills and successful completion of basic and recurrency training are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan incoming and outgoing freight
• Sort freight within the facility
• Load shipments using appropriate equipment
• Unload packages from freight movements
• Complete mandatory testing and training

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations preferred
• Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations preferred
• Ability to complete recurrency training successfully
• Good interpersonal skills and physical lifting ability
