Role Overview We are seeking a Founding AI Product Engineer who owns the complete product from concept to execution. You are the central force that brings all pieces together, transforming complex business requirements into cohesive, scalable systems that our clients and internal teams rely on daily. You will lead the development team with an AI-first approach, setting technical direction across the entire stack while ensuring every component works in harmony. This is not a pure management or documentation role. You will architect systems, prototype solutions, design interfaces, leverage AI throughout the product, and coordinate all technical work streams to deliver exceptional product experiences. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end product architecture, from data layer to user interface, ensuring all components integrate seamlessly Lead and coordinate the development team, defining technical direction with an AI-first mindset and maintaining execution velocity Translate complex business logic and data workflows into cohesive product systems powered by intelligent automation Design and implement scalable architectures that handle real-time data, AI-driven workflows, and multi-step processes Identify and integrate AI capabilities throughout the product stack to maximize efficiency and intelligence Act as the central hub connecting backend infrastructure, data systems, AI components, and user-facing applications Define data contracts, API structures, and system integrations across all product layers Ship fast, iterate based on real user feedback, and maintain high standards for quality and performance Qualifications 4–9 years building production systems with ownership across multiple layers of the stack Steep career trajectory with rapid advancement based on exceptional execution and impact Recent hands‑on build experience – your last role involved architecting and shipping systems, not just managing teams Strong technical foundation spanning backend systems, databases, APIs, and user interfaces Fluency in Figma/Design Tools – you don't need a designer to visualize your logic Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into product architectures and workflows Proven ability to identify where AI adds genuine value versus where traditional approaches excel Experience leading technical teams and coordinating cross‑functional engineering efforts Ability to design systems holistically, understanding how every piece fits together Track record of shipping V1 products from 0‑to‑1 in weeks, not months. You value shipping working software over perfect architecture.
