If yes, the Senior Machine Learning Engineer is the role for you GeoComply’s Data Science team focuses on improving Anti‑fraud system, turning business requirements into DS/ML solutions, developing and deploying best‑in‑class ML/DS solutions. As the Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will contribute to GeoComply’s success by ensuring continuous development of full‑cycle AI‑based Anti‑Fraud products: continuous training, model evaluation, deployment, real‑time feature stores, automated re‑training process, and more. The ideal candidate for this role is a person with solid engineering principles, building and serving models in Cloud‑based systems, who is self‑sufficient, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic environment. We expect the Senior Machine Learning Engineer to have experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Big data tools, running code refactoring and optimization, containerization, deployment, versioning, and monitoring. You enjoy working in collaborative teams and have excellent interpersonal skills. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer should take responsibility and always see a path forward to success. You should have experience working in short, iterative development cycles and have a great passion for working in fast‑paced development process environments. Key Responsibilities Develop end‑to‑end pipelines with strong understanding of AI lifecycle, cloud platforms, and business problems; Leverage data insights to contribute to the strategic direction of our products, identifying opportunities for new features, improvements, and optimizations. Partner effectively with product, engineering, operations, and other business teams to understand their needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and present findings and recommendations with clarity and impact. Automatization of re‑training models, maintain and build model tracking systems; Monitor model performance and provide recommendations for model performance improvement; Work closely with data engineering and data science team on consulting and defining best coding practice; Write technical documentation and reports to communicate process and results; Work with large amounts of structured and unstructured data. Who You Are You have 8+ years of experience in a product development in data science team; You’re experienced in continuous deployment of predictive models or ML systems in a cloud environment (i.e. AWS: SageMaker, ECS, S3, GCP); Expert‑level proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing concepts) with the ability to write highly optimized and complex queries; Advanced programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation are highly desirable. You have practical experience with main ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, XGBoost) and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet, etc.); You have strong background working with predictive and statistical modeling, machine learning and strong expertise in all phases of the modeling pipeline; You have excellent knowledge of statistics and machine learning basics; You’re experienced with building CI/CD pipelines orchestration (MLflow or similar tools); You’re experienced in distributed storage / distributed compute environments (i.e. Databricks, Spark, PySpark). You are a solutions‑focused problem solver who always sees a path forward to success. You are an exceptional communicator and can build relationships with anyone you work with. You are organized and have fantastic attention to detail, aiming higher and higher each day. You always act with integrity and operate with strong moral principles. You have the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to support a rapidly growing technology company with multiple moving parts. Bonus Points Experience in online gaming, financial services, or other high‑risk/regulated industries. Deep understanding of specific anti‑fraud techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
