Teach Grades 4-7 ELL at Southridge Elementary in Prince George with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience preferred. This contract is 0.25 FTE.
School District No. 57 seeks a Limited Duration Contract Teacher for Grade 4-7 ELL instruction. The successful applicant will use inclusive teaching strategies, assessment approaches, and social-emotional learning. Experience with Indigenous culture, inquiry learning, classroom management, and curriculum technology is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Grade 4-7 English Language Learner students
- Apply assessment as and for learning strategies
- Integrate Indigenous culture and traditions into curriculum
- Support social and emotional learning
- Establish positive classroom environments and relationships
Requirements:
- Valid or eligible British Columbia teaching certification
- Knowledge of redesigned curriculum and core competencies
- Experience accommodating diverse learners inclusively
- Experience with inquiry and experiential learning
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel
