Position: Biology PhD Type: Hourly contractor Compensation: $65–$75/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 15–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities Collaborate asynchronously with a team of experts in your domain. Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability. Develop high-quality content to inform the future of AI innovation. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines. Ensure the work is fully remote and asynchronous. Qualifications Master's or PhD in Biology from a top U.S. university. Experience coding in Python, R for projects or research. Field‑specific experience in Ecology, Biochemistry, or Genetics. High attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent proficiency in English. Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia. Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding time including the screening process and onboarding videos if hired. Compensation & Legal Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
