Prepare hot entrées, pizzas, wraps, and sandwiches as a Part-Time Line Cook and Catering Support associate in Scarborough. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends.
Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is hiring two part-time associates for line cooking and catering support. The work includes food production, event close-down, inventory handling, customer service, and accurate payment processing. Candidates need two years of food preparation and cooking experience, with catering experience considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot entrées, pizzas, wraps, and sandwiches
- Complete opening, closing, restocking, and product rotation procedures
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen areas
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
- Fulfill orders according to customer specifications
Requirements:
- Two years of food preparation and cooking experience
- Smart Serve and Food Handlers Certification required
- Culinary diploma or degree considered an asset
- Ability to work efficiently during high-volume periods
- Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
