Senior Engineer – Hydropower & Hydraulic Structures Our Energy & Resources team, focused on hydropower and dam engineering, seeks a Senior Project Manager/Engineer with expertise in civil/structural engineering and rehabilitation of hydraulic structures and hydroelectric power plants, mainly for Hydro-Québec. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices. Responsibilities Act as project manager or multidisciplinary coordinator for major dam and hydroelectric facility projects. Perform hydraulic calculations for dams and hydroelectric facilities. Supervise the design of hydraulic structures and works. Participate in the management and technical coordination of major projects. Participate in the preparation of proposals. Establish and maintain relationships with clients. Master technical solutions and ensure their adequacy with clients’ needs. Plan project stages, monitor the progress of deliverables, and ensure compliance with the schedule. Ensure quality control of project practices. Support and verify the work of other specialized engineers (civil/structural, hydraulic, heavy mechanical, geotechnical, or electrical). Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, technicians, and drafters involved in the projects. Qualifications University Degree in Civil, Water, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. More than ten (10) years of experience in hydroelectricity/hydropower and dams. Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for registration. Master’s Degree, MBA or Project Management certification (an asset). Fluency in spoken and written French.
