***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSB completed.***POSITION DESCRIPTION:Schedule: a 7/14 daytime position
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
Respond to all emergency situations
While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Formation of PDSB
Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
Law 90 training
Complete PAB training
