In this role, you will serve food tailored to residents' dietary preferences and needs. You will assist in preparing simple meals and maintain proper food storage and kitchen cleanliness. Adhering to quality assurance and safety practices is crucial as you aim to enhance residents' quality of life within our long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food according to individual resident diets
• Assist Cooks with food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment
• Stock and label dietary supplies appropriately
• Attend facility meetings and in-service education
Requirements:
• Completion/enrollment in Food Service Worker Program
• 0-1 year of dietary experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Competence in English for instructions
• Must perform moderate to heavy lifting
Support the daily dietary needs of residents while fostering a warm environment at Manitoulin Centennial Manor.
