Handle packages safely for FedEx using repetitive lifting, sorting, scanning, loading, and unloading duties. Work Monday through Friday across stated shifts.
FedEx Package Handlers physically move packages through delivery operations using hand-to-surface methods. You may load, unload, palletize, scan, weigh, key, face, switch, or support quality assurance. The work requires following instructions, reading labels, discerning numbers, and using basic handling equipment. No education or prior experience is required for the general assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, pallets, conveyors, and gratings
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages continuously and repetitively
- Scan packages, read labels, and sort through conveyor systems
- Use hand-held scanners, dock carts, chutes, and unloading devices
- Perform additional duties assigned by management
Requirements:
- Follow work-duty instructions and required safety methods
- Discern numbers and information for accurate package sorting
- Lift and carry packages weighing five to 50 pounds
- Work in hot, cold, and loud environments
- No education or previous experience required
Bring safe package handling, accurate scanning, and physical stamina to FedEx’s loading, unloading, and sorting operation.
