Apply today and join the company that is Leading with Science®. Your Role: We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for our Pickering, Ontario office. Responsibilities: Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, vendors and other project support staff/stakeholders. Manage nuclear related projects. Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations. Monitors, tracks and controls project budget, schedule, and performance of projects. Identifies ways to improve project outcomes. Provide leadership to the Project Team. Communicate project updates with client and other key stakeholders. Client delivery responsibility and establishing requirements as per procurement procedure. Assembles and leads meetings with project team members to communicate project scopes. Qualifications: A university degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred. Other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience. 5+ years experience in project management experience that includes leading and managing large multidiscipline projects, or large single discipline projects. Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) and/or PMP certification would be a strong asset. Strong client management skills required to address challenging client requirements and ensuring client satisfaction. Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred. Nuclear (OPG or Bruce Power) experience is considered an asset. Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets. Coaching, professional service management, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be eligible to obtain security clearance.
