We’re a technology company that leads with our humanity—driving our business priorities alongside meaningful social, community, and societal impact.**How You Will Contribute*** Collaborate with customers to resolve production and deployment issues, ensuring seamless integration of Blue Planet solutions.* Monitor and debug system performance, collecting and providing logs to relevant teams for swift issue resolution.* Share customer feedback with Account, PLM, and R&D teams to enhance product functionality in future releases.* Deliver weekly updates on project execution and status, ensuring alignment with deployment plans and timelines.* Translate business requirements into system and process solutions, mapping Blue Planet capabilities to customer needs.* Drive or participate in key SDLC components, including business analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.* Develop and distribute project-related documentation and oversee assigned tasks to ensure successful delivery.**The Must Haves*** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.* Extensive experience with network assurance systems for global enterprises or network service providers.* Proven expertise within a Professional Services organization with consultancy and leadership skills.* Deep understanding of Telecom Network technologies (DWDM, Ethernet, IP, etc.), OSS/BSS ecosystems, and associated technologies like SDN/NFV, cloud infrastructure, and service orchestration.* Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, Java, and frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.* Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and deployment in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).* Strong written and oral English communication skills.**Nice to Haves*** Knowledge of Telco OSS ecosystem products, including Ciena Blue Planet or comparable vendors like Amdocs, Ericsson, Netcracker.* Exposure to Apache Kafka, monitoring tools like Nagios or Grafana, and networking concepts such as 4G/5G Mobility, IP/MPLS, SD-WAN.* Experience with REST APIs, SNMP, Syslog, and ICMP protocols.* Familiarity with Agile, Feature-Driven Design, and other project methodologies.* Expertise in network analytics, AI/ML, anomaly detection, and fault/performance/SLA management.* Ability to present technical solutions effectively to engineering organizations.* Capacity to travel as required.#LI-BS1**Pay Range**The annual pay range for this position is $93,000 - $148,600.Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
