About the role: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Full Stack AWS Developer, Business Applications, to join our growing team. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable applications and infrastructure on AWS, and develop AI/ML-powered solutions embedded in sales tools to support and optimize workflows. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage AWS expertise in a platform impacting critical global industries. In this role, you will: Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on AWS. Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, etc. Implement Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation or Terraform. Integrate AI/ML solutions into sales tools for CRM, lead scoring, chatbots, and forecasting. Develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy. Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services. Support data integration pipelines for analytics (ETL/ELT). Implement monitoring and logging with AWS CloudWatch and other tools. Ensure security and compliance best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Troubleshoot issues in AWS environments. Stay updated with AWS services and best practices. Contribute to technical documentation and best practices. Embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the organization. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, with 3+ or 5+ years of software development experience, respectively, with cloud focus. At least 2 years of full-stack development experience. Strong understanding of core AWS services and their application. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or React. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills. Ideal candidates will also have: AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher. Experience with Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway. Experience with AWS databases like RDS, DynamoDB. Knowledge of middleware tools like Zapier, Workato. Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana. Experience with large-scale, distributed systems. Compensation & Benefits: Annual salary ranges from $89,675 to $116,050 CAD, complemented by bonuses, RSUs, and a comprehensive benefits package.
