Medical Laboratory Technologist Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Medical Laboratory Department at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, BC. If Medical Laboratory Science is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated individual interested in working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, apply today Position Summary We offer a generalist Medical Laboratory Technologist position with interesting and varied work within all areas of Core with some phlebotomy. The Arrow Lakes Hospital (ALH) does not have acute care beds but offers laboratory and radiology; urgent care; outpatient ambulatory care; community services; long‑term residential care services; and doctors’ offices. Typical duties may include performing routine and/or complex tests utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments, collecting and/or receiving specimens, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), validating/reporting test results, maintaining instruments and preparing solutions and control agents. Job Type & Schedule This is a Permanent Full‑Time (1.00) opportunity. Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days. There is on‑call associated with this position. Location Located in southeastern British Columbia, Nakusp is a quiet community surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes and pristine nature.
