We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to work with us on a permanent, full-time basis to develop relationships with our current Alberta customers and source new clients to build a profitable business. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely but requires on-site visits to clients for the day-to-day basics. Counselling services for you and your family Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the Builder/Commercial channel portfolio – inclusive of managing current customers and prospecting for new business Assess the individual territory and create an annual business plan in conjunction with understanding the needs and strategy for the distributors Manage positive customer/end user relationships by addressing issues, providing customer contacts, and facilitating distributor relationships with the product support and service team Design presentations and conduct training for external clients which may include buyers, builder sales associates and the commercial or residential builders Negotiate contracts and liaison with internal and external stakeholders The region consists of but not exclusive to Manitoba and Saskatchewan Qualifications: University/College graduate in business/marketing or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in consumer durable goods. Home appliance industry or the building supply industry knowledge is preferred Assertive, results driven individual, who works well in a team and on their own Shows initiative, stamina and perseverance with an entrepreneurial spirit Excellent selling and solid negotiation skills. Possess strong computer and analytical skills with SAP knowledge being an asset CRM experience ideally within Salesforce being an asset Strong business acumen understanding of key financial measurements Strong interpersonal, exceptional customer relation and networking skills Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (overnight travel as needed) Must have a valid driver license If this sounds like you and you are excited to join our team, please apply now.
