We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Mississauga with hand pump and walkie experience. JOB SUMMARY: To move materials between the warehouse and packaging lines as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required by the Company; reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies the Supervisor of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace. Quality Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and packaging areas as per the SOP's. Follow all GMPs and safety requirements. Delivery Supply all packaging components from the warehouse to packaging as per the SOP's & Packaging Work Order (PWO). Move line waste and line remnants into the designated locations in the warehouse. Deliver finished goods to the warehouse. Value Assist in inventory counts and checks. Contribute to achieving Lean Goals and continuous improvement. Other duties and tasks as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma preferred. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to read and comprehend SOPs and other written documentation.Experience: ■ Previous experience working in a cGMP/pharmaceutical or production environment is an asset. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Demonstrated competencies in CPL's core values. Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast-paced environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: ■ Safely lifting individual heavy cases without mechanical assistance. ■ Manually handling heavy cases and drums of materials on and off skids using safe practices. ■ Pulling, pushing and pumping with manual pump truck, heavy skids using safe practices. ■ Able to demonstrate competency and qualify for operation of powered material handling equipment including fork trucks (Walkie), powered hand trucks.
