What You'll Do As a Deloitte Tax Manager, AI Software Back-End Engineer, you will be in a lead role for design, development, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting custom applications and modules that meet business requirements. Responsibilities Lead requirements analysis. Collaborate with US colleagues and Vendors' teams to produce software design and architecture. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. Test and deploy applications and systems. Revise, update, refactor and debug code. Develop, support, and maintain applications and technology solutions. Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards. Guide and mentor junior developers in the use of all development tools, testing tools, methodologies, and processes. Become familiar with the project management methodology and processes. Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members. Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the industry best standards in software development and version controlling. Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production. Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates. The Team Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation. Qualifications Required: Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline. 5+ years' experience leading technical delivery teams and strong hands-on experience on C#, SQL Server, OOPS Concepts, Micro Services Architecture. Demonstrated experience on .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, Entity Framework 6 or above, Azure, Database performance tuning, Applying Design Patterns, Agile. Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Limited sponsorship may be available. Cloud AI Services: Hands-on experience using cloud-based AI tools (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker). AI Solution Architecture: Ability to design back-end systems that integrate AI models or algorithms with core business applications. Understanding of AI Concepts: Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and common machine learning algorithms. Collaboration with Data Scientists: Ability to work collaboratively with data scientists to translate business needs into AI solutions. Knowledge on Angular, Mongo DB, NPM and Azure Devops Build/Release configuration. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Compensation & Benefits The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,490 to $272,090. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
