Entry Level Crop Farm Worker

Build hands-on crop farming skills outdoors as an entry-level Farm Worker, grading produce and operating agricultural equipment onsite. Training is provided.

This Farm Worker position requires no degree, certificate, diploma, or previous experience. You will plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, spray, and harvest crops while supporting agricultural crop services. The work takes place in a rural area, onsite, across dusty, hot, noisy, wet, dirty, and all-weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour, and volume
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
• Fertilize, spray, and harvest crops
• Provide plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting services
• Follow farm safety and bio-security procedures

Requirements:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• No experience required; training provided
• English language ability
• Own transportation required
• Ability to perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks

Develop practical crop production experience through grading, cultivation, harvesting, equipment operation, and general farm duties.
