Wood is recruiting a skilled Vessel Control Systems Operator for its Operations team. This offshore position is based on the Terra Nova FPSO, requiring expertise in control systems. Expect a structured 21-day on, 21-day off rotation, with a commitment to maintaining safety and operational excellence while working in various challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate vessel control systems for efficient performance • Monitor equipment and systems in real-time • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues promptly • Perform testing and inspections as required • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Requirements: • Valid site-specific medical certification • Undergo drug and alcohol testing as mandated • Ability to work in confined spaces and noisy conditions • Flexible to work in extreme temperatures • Knowledge of industry standards and practices
