What are your contributions to the team?
- Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure parts are received on time and according to the production schedule
- Administer portfolio activities related to invoices and order pricing issues
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, while optimizing quality, cycle time and costs for the organization
- Track and validate the delivery of parts in production in close collaboration with internal partner functions (Logistics - Line Function)
- Maintain operational and financial key performance indicators
- Interact with various multidisciplinary teams (Logistics - Line, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality)
- Apply and monitor contractual conditions with the supplier
- Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure associated purchase order requirements
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelor's degree in administration or operations management and a minimum of five (5) years of experience
- You have experience with SAP and BAAN (an asset)
- You possess a strong ethical sense and are customer-oriented
- You have good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills as well as good interpersonal skills
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office
- You are bilingual (spoken and written French and English)
