Lead finance across Canadian and US entities from a flexible hybrid model at Other.™, using strong accounting and treasury expertise. Build reliable reporting and cash visibility for a growing Toronto-based team.
As Director of Finance, you will own financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and multi-entity growth while reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. You will manage fractional Controller and Bookkeeper resources, oversee consolidated reporting, and support executive decisions through forecasting. The work spans cross-border compliance, cash flow modeling, intercompany accounting, and finance technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own accurate, timely, consolidated, audit-ready financials
- Lead fractional finance partners and monthly close controls
- Manage US operations, intercompany accounting, and compliance
- Build 13-week cash flow models across CAD and USD
- Partner with the CFO on forecasting and capital allocation
Requirements:
- Eight-plus years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Leadership responsibility in finance operations
- Cross-border US and Canada financial management familiarity
- Strong GAAP or IFRS knowledge and cash flow modeling
- Experience selecting and implementing finance technology
