Architect EKS cluster lifecycle, node management, and shared components Lead Terraform and Spacelift provisioning, upgrades, teardown, and self-service workflows Enforce workload safety standards through automation and policy Establish observability, audits, reporting, and risk measurement Mentor engineers and participate in Kubernetes on-call response Requirements:
10+ years software or infrastructure engineering experience 6+ years operating production Kubernetes at scale Expert Go or Python proficiency building Kubernetes platform tooling Strong AWS architecture experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, and EKS Terraform, GitOps, policy enforcement, and observability experience Lead EKS platform strategy at Affirm through Kubernetes expertise, infrastructure automation, workload standards, and technical leadership.
