Lead ambulance operations in Blacks Harbour using paramedic expertise, workforce oversight, and patient service leadership across the South Region. Regular business hours apply, with some irregular hours.
Medavie Health Services New Brunswick seeks an Operations Manager, South Region, reporting to the Regional Director. You will manage staff and systems, support corporate strategic goals, build staff capabilities, and improve service levels. The position covers EMS management, employee and labour issues, recruitment, and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and systems within the Blacks Harbour administrative area
- Share responsibility for required regional on call coverage
- Oversee paramedic recruitment and selection processes
- Resolve customer, patient, employee, and labour issues
- Provide emergency backup support on ambulances
Requirements:
- Approved paramedic training and current New Brunswick registration
- Five years’ paramedic experience, including three leadership years
- Experience in EMS management, information technology, finance, and human resources
- Valid New Brunswick Class 4 driver’s license
- Leadership, communication, negotiating, and dispute resolution skills
