Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications and conducting unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software package use and operation, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Skills:
• Experience in n-tier web-based applications, database technologies, software, tools, Java EE (J2EE), and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience in complex programming concepts and languages such as JSF, Spring, MyBatis ORM Framework, Servlets, Core Java, Liberty, Oracle 19c+, iText, React, Apache MyFaces, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, RESTful Services, and SML.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud, AKS, WebSphere Liberty or Open Liberty, and DevOps toolchain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with application architecture, front-end & back-end integration, and API development.

Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and good understanding of Swagger files.
