• The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks(MECP) Species at Risk Branch (SARB) is responsible for the administration andissuance of Registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025.
• The objective of this project is to build a modern onlineRegistration system for both external and internal users.
• Technology stack : Microsoft Dynamics CRM (backoffice),MuleSoft (middleware) and Java/React (public facing portal)
• This position is to understand MECP Registration and Permitworkflows and write user stories and related functional and technicalspecifications, develop Figma prototypes; including briefing requirements tothe development team, leading QA testing, coordinating UAT with Ministry usersand updating / grooming product backlog on on-going bases.

• Expertisein Business Analysis working visio diagrams and swim lane diagrams
• Abilityto define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for ITsolutions.
• Experiencewith database analysis and SQL language.
• Abilityto effectively liaise between business users, IT teams, and externalvendors.
• Experienceleading requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholderinterviews.
• Understandingof Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies to support ITteams.
• JIRA,Confluence, Azure DevOps (for requirements tracking & projectcollaboration).
