As an experienced HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout various hospital areas. Your focus will be on performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of heating and cooling systems. This position involves coordination of maintenance planning and responding to both proactive and reactive service requests.
Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair cooling and refrigeration systems • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment • Monitor performance and alarms via BAS systems • Coordinate maintenance scheduling and emergency work • Operate maintenance software for work requests
Requirements: • 3-5 years of HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance experience • Registered with Skilled Trades Ontario • Valid ODP Certification and G2 Gas Technician License • Strong familiarity with chiller plants and controls • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
