This Materials Planner generates production plans that maintain inventory needs and support customer orders. The position coordinates materials, schedules, forecasts, and records across manufacturing operations. Success requires experience with ERP software, MPS/MRP, inventory planning, and demand forecasting. You will communicate requirements with QA, Sales, and Customer Service while supporting timely material delivery and accurate planning information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate production plans supporting inventory and customer order requirements
- Review packaging needs and schedule production accordingly
- Coordinate departments to fulfill client orders and requirements
- Run ERP planning worksheets and update delivery data
- Prepare efficiency, yield, and productivity reports
Requirements:
- College degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
- Three years manufacturing experience as a Production Scheduler
- Experience implementing and utilizing ERP software
- Knowledge of MPS/MRP, forecasting, and inventory planning
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
