BDO Digital seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineer focused on Databricks. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, using Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark. The role delivers scalable, secure data pipelines and supports client engagements aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark
- Develop scalable ETL for structured and unstructured data
- Integrate cloud and on-premises data sources
- Automate ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows
- Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, security, and compliance
Requirements:
- Five years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Three years using Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline
- Advanced Python and/or Scala programming skills
- Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Synapse, and DevOps experience
