CRWS is looking for a Mechanical Design Specialist proficient in SolidWorks to create accurate models and assembly drawings. With a background in rail and transportation systems, you will support engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with industry standards and practices. This role emphasizes your ability to manage documentation and multidiscipline interfaces.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and detail 3D models using SolidWorks • Create and amend technical drawings for projects • Coordinate with engineers on layout and design needs • Negotiate design changes based on client feedback • Maintain organized documentation per company standards
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar • 10+ years in mechanical systems within rail sectors • Strong drafting capabilities in CAD tools • Experience with integration of mechanical systems • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
