Aplin has partnered with an established Canadian manufacturer serving the nuclear industry to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical for its Niagara Falls, Ontario operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical/manufacturing engineering professional who enjoys working close to production and translating complex engineering requirements into practical, executable manufacturing solutions. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the Fabrication Engineering team, converting customer and design requirements into production-ready fabrication packages while working closely with Production, Quality, Procurement and Engineering. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical will bridge the gap between engineering design and shop-floor execution. You will be responsible for developing and releasing fabrication drawings, material bills of materials, manufacturing sequences, ERP routings and production orders while supporting tooling, fixtures, equipment selection and manufacturing process improvements. This is a hands‑on engineering position suited to someone who understands how components are actually manufactured and can identify and resolve manufacturability challenges before they affect production.
