About the Role
Simple Ventures seeks a high-agency builder to validate new venture concepts. The role involves sourcing investment ideas, testing them with customers, and developing investment cases. The firm focuses on launching new companies with carefully selected CEOs.
Key Responsibilities
- Venture Origination: Generate concepts from global trends and identify Canadian market gaps
- Rapid Validation: Conduct customer interviews, create MVPs, and run experiments using AI tools
- Investment Development: Synthesize insights into opinionated investment memos and define go-to-market strategiesQualifications- Experience building from scratch (0→1 environments)
- Strong product judgment and high-velocity execution
- AI proficiency and intrinsic motivation
- Clear communication and extreme ownership
