Build high-performance Java and Rust trading software with State Street’s EFX Boston team as a senior full-stack developer. Solve complex problems across global platforms.

This senior eFX developer creates new functionality alongside a global team delivering bespoke FX trading solutions. The work spans mesh-based service-oriented platforms across multiple data centres, supporting globally traded FX. Success requires detailed knowledge of FX Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks, and eNDF trading, plus clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new eFX functionality alongside global team peers
  • Write high-performance Java and Rust code
  • Support bespoke trading solutions for global FX markets
  • Solve business-facing problems quickly under pressure
  • Contribute to multiple releases amid tight deadlines

Requirements:

  • Ten-plus years in automated trading at a bank or hedge fund
  • Fifteen-plus years of finance development experience
  • In-depth FX Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks, and eNDF knowledge
  • Experience with large-scale global mesh-based platforms
  • Bachelor of Science degree or similar
