D. in Computer Science or related fields and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. You'll engage in developing, testing, and debugging software for Ethernet switches while collaborating with engineers and marketing teams to meet project requirements. Strong networking knowledge, particularly in L2/L3 aspects, is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement features for SONiC software
• Write and execute functional and test plans for software
• Debug issues in customer networks and automate tests
• Collaborate with teams to gather functional requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
Requirements:
• BSc, MS, or Ph.
D. in a relevant field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python
• Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux systems
• Knowledge of IP routing protocols and Ethernet features Utilize your software engineering skills to enhance Arista's SONiC solutions and support the largest data center networks.
