Maintenance Manager XPS Manufacturing

Lead maintenance for IKO Industries’ new XPS facility in Brantford, Ontario, applying plant maintenance expertise and safety leadership. Work days Monday through Friday, with 24/7 on-call responsibilities. This Maintenance Manager supports startup activities and the transition to regular extruded polystyrene production. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop maintenance plans, facilitate department performance, and support plant safety processes. The role supervises hourly maintenance employees and coordinates with production, engineering, vendors, contractors, and corporate reliability. Key Responsibilities:

Establish safety, health, and environmental compliance standards Develop preventive maintenance programs with corporate reliability Facilitate root cause analyses with maintenance, production, and engineering Schedule vendors, contractors, shutdowns, and weekly downtime Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, reports, and documentation Requirements:

Five-plus years supervising continuous process manufacturing teams Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industrial experience Preventive maintenance and CMMS experience Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, heat transfer, and automation systems Strong organization, computer, reliability, and prioritization skills Bring maintenance leadership, reliability knowledge, and safety focus to IKO Industries’ Brantford XPS manufacturing operations.
