The Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta (www.ualberta.ca/chemistry) invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the field of Environmental or Analytical Chemistry, with a strong emphasis on developing and applying new and improved analytical technologies to environmental challenges. The targeted starting date is July 1, 2027.
The Department has vibrant research programs encompassing most areas of modern chemistry, including materials and nanoscience, catalysis, analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, spectroscopy, synthesis and medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, computational chemistry, and instrumentation and analysis. It offers an outstanding research environment, with access to excellent support facilities.
