This hybrid position is part of Guidepoint’s Toronto Technology Hub, aimed at developing cutting-edge research enablement platforms. The ideal AI Engineer will possess in-depth software engineering expertise, particularly with large language models, and extensive experience in creating production-grade systems. Your role will emphasize improving AI application life cycles and monitoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop low-latency backend services to support AI operations • Manage the full application lifecycle from design to deployment • Enhance RAG pipelines for optimized retrieval strategies • Integrate LLMs with proprietary and real-time data • Collaborate on LLMOps and performance monitoring best practices
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s with 4+ years experience • Strong Python skills and backend architecture experience • Cloud application deployment expertise, preferably on Azure • 2+ years of LLM application development • Familiar with data processing platforms like Databricks
