Design secure cloud data and AI solutions for Rogers in Calgary, bringing Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, and integration expertise. The role is office-based full time.
This Senior Solution Architect position supports the Data & AI team across enterprise data platforms, AI/ML platforms, APIs, and analytics solutions. You will evaluate alternatives, create high-level designs, and guide implementation while balancing scalability, performance, cost, and operational considerations. Strong cloud and hands-on architecture experience are central.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate alternatives and recommend practical architecture decisions
- Create High-Level Designs and contribute to Detailed Design Documents
- Define batch, streaming, API, and event-driven integration patterns
- Design secure integrations across platforms, applications, and analytics
- Communicate risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly
Requirements:
- Strong experience across Azure, AWS, or modern cloud technologies
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or ADF
- Experience migrating data from on premises to cloud environments
- Understanding of access control, privacy, governance, and data protection
- Experience designing AI/ML or GenAI enterprise solutions
