This role at Teck requires a strong background in data science with at least 5 years of experience. Successful candidates will have expertise in statistical modeling and deploying ML solutions in real-world scenarios, preferably within industrial domains like processing and mining. Being able to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders is crucial.
Key Responsibilities: • Uphold safety and environmental safety protocols • Architect and deploy advanced machine learning solutions • Enhance workflows, experiment tracking, and model performance • Collaborate with teams to address business challenges • Analyze comprehensive datasets through modern techniques
Requirements: • Master’s or PhD in Data Science or similar area • Minimum 5 years proven experience in data science • Proficient in Python programming and ML frameworks • Experience with Azure and data analytics tools • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
