About the Role:
SEGULA Technologies is looking for a Project Logistics& Transportation Engineer to support major wind energy projects inCanada.
You will be responsible for assessing the feasibility oftransporting oversized wind turbine components from ports to wind farm sites,including blades, tower sections, nacelles and other heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conductport and transportation feasibility studies.
- Surveyand validate routes from ports to project sites.
- Identifyconstraints related to road geometry, bridges, turning radius, clearances,gradients and load capacity.
- Assessinfrastructure requirements and recommend necessary modifications.
- Coordinatewith ports, heavy-haul transportation companies, engineering firms andlogistics providers.
- Supportproject planning, risk assessment, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
- Conductfield visits to ports, roads, suppliers and project sites.
- Coordinatewith international project teams and Canadian stakeholders.
