Build backend foundations for MaintainX’s internal developer platform using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and distributed systems expertise. Work alongside platform and product teams. As a senior backend engineer, you will develop an internal platform serving more than 150 developers. The work focuses on reducing manual steps, enabling golden paths, and helping MaintainX engineers ship faster as the organization grows. You will shape platform capabilities with internal customers. Key Responsibilities:

Design backend foundations powering the internal developer platform Build and maintain developer tooling Consolidate platform primitives and golden paths Bring AI-native workflows into daily platform work Collaborate with platform and product development teams Requirements:

Five or more years of distributed systems experience Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, or similar languages Proficiency designing GraphQL APIs at scale Strong AI mindset Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Apply backend engineering, GraphQL, and platform expertise to help MaintainX engineers deliver software more efficiently.
