NOC Job Code/Title: 65310 - Hotel housekeeper CACTUS TREE INN IS HIRING HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER JOB DETAILS Business and work location: 5887 Main St, Oliver, BC, Canada, V0H 1T0 Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Part time or full time (14 to 40 hours per week) / Shift Benefit: 4% Vacation pay Starts as soon as possible Vacancy: 1 REQUIREMENTS Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience required (will train) WORK SETTING: Motel / Inn (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.) TASKS
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Dust furniture Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Make beds and change sheets Distribute clean towels and toiletries Stock linen closet Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Handle and report lost and found items Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items Provide basic information on facilities Pick up debris and empty trash containers Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Wash windows, walls and ceilings Address customers’ complaints or concerns SUPPORT FOR YOUTHS
Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
