Candu Energy Inc. is seeking a Senior Feeder Piping Analyst to work on crucial Life Extension Projects based in Mississauga, Ontario. Leverage your piping analysis expertise in nuclear settings.
This position involves significant responsibilities in the analysis of feeder piping and components for CANDU reactors. You will need strong analytical capabilities using software like ANSYS Mechanical and the ability to prepare comprehensive technical documents. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of existing reactors.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform detailed engineering analyses per Candu's quality standards • Develop reports and specifications for piping designs • Conduct fatigue and seismic analysis • Support design teams with finite element modeling • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers
Requirements: • Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution • P.Eng. registration or eligibility in Ontario • 8-10 years of relevant experience in heavy industry • Experience with stress analysis and industry codes • Familiarity with nuclear engineering principles and practices
