Reporting to the National Oncology Manager, the Oncology Resource Pharmacist supports the growth and day-to-day execution of BioScript's oncology portfolio across Pharmacy and Coverdale Infusion Clinics operations. This role contributes hands-on clinical and operational expertise to the development and delivery of oncology care models, patient support programs, and hospital-to-community care transitions. The Oncology Resource Pharmacist works closely with Pharmacy Operations, Coverdale Operations, NavieGo, and cross-functional teams in Business Development, Growth and Strategy, and Commercial to carry out oncology initiatives that are clinically sound, operationally consistent, and aligned with patient and partner needs.


This role serves as a key operational contributor and subject matter resource within BioScript's oncology task force, providing the clinical insight, stakeholder coordination, and program execution support that enables the oncology portfolio to grow and perform. The Oncology Resource Pharmacist monitors market trends, maintains external relationships, supports internal team readiness, and tracks program outcomes, ensuring oncology initiatives are delivered with consistency, quality, and measurable impact across the organization.

Your Mission:  



  • Contribute to the execution of oncology service strategies by applying clinical and operational knowledge to support program priorities across pharmacy, clinic, and commercial teams.
  • Monitor oncology market trends, reimbursement landscapes, provincial formularies, and access pathways to identify service opportunities and inform program planning.
  • Design and implement oncology care models and patient support programs that address clinical needs, PSP alignment, payer expectations, and patient-centred care standards.
  • Identify oncology and hematology services suitable for transition from hospital to community settings, and support the integration of BioScript and Coverdale into decentralized care workflows.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical partners, and PSPs to support partnership development and enable consistent program delivery.
  • Act as an operational link between commercial, clinical, pharmacy, and operations teams by facilitating communication, sharing program updates, and supporting aligned execution of oncology initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Local Oncology Pharmacy Leads to ensure program expectations are understood and operational standards are consistently met across sites.
  • Develop and deliver tools, resources, and training materials to support internal team readiness and consistent oncology practice across BioScript and Coverdale operations.
  • Represent oncology programs in external engagements such as RFPs, quarterly business reviews, and conferences, contributing program expertise and supporting strategic messaging.
  • Support the definition and tracking of KPIs by working with data and analytics teams to monitor patient access, operational efficiency, clinical care quality, and adherence outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of outcomes reports, real-world evidence summaries, and program narratives that demonstrate value to internal leaders, partners, and payers.
  • Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities through ongoing review of program performance data and stakeholder feedback, and escalate findings wi
