The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive leader responsible for the financial stewardship, strategic planning, governance support, and long-term sustainability of Grey Eagle Resort & Casino (GERC). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CFO serves as the principal financial advisor to the Board and Executive Leadership Team, providing leadership across financial operations, capital investment planning, enterprise risk management, business growth initiatives, and stakeholder relations. The CFO plays a critical role in supporting the Board's vision for sustainable economic growth while protecting and enhancing the assets of Grey Eagle Resort & Casino for future generations of the Tsuut'ina Nation. The role oversees all financial functions and provides executive leadership for major capital projects, resort renovations, business development initiatives, financing strategies, and governance matters affecting the organization. As one of the most senior leaders within GERC, the CFO must balance strategic thinking, operational understanding, financial discipline, and relationship-building with a diverse group of stakeholders including the Board of Directors, Tsuut'ina Nation leadership, regulators, financial institutions, development partners, and operational leaders. Education And Experience

CPA designation. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline. Minimum 10 years progressive financial leadership experience. Minimum 5 years in a senior executive role. Experience in hospitality, gaming, resort, entertainment, tourism, real estate development, or similarly complex operations. Experience reporting directly to a Board of Directors. Experience leading major capital projects exceeding $10M. Demonstrated success managing banking and financing relationships. Preferred

MBA or Master's Degree. Experience working with Indigenous-owned organizations, governments, or economic development entities. Experience in a regulated gaming environment. Experience supporting Board committees and governance functions. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strategic Leadership & Board Support

Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Board of Directors. Provide recommendations on strategic initiatives, capital investments, financing structures, business growth opportunities, and organizational performance. Prepare and present comprehensive financial and operational reports to the Board. Support the Board in strategic planning and long-term sustainability initiatives. Participate in governance discussions and provide financial guidance regarding organizational priorities. Assist the Board in evaluating significant business opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships, and development projects. Financial Leadership & Stewardship

Lead all aspects of financial management and reporting. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee: Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting Treasury Management, Cash Flow Management Internal Controls Tax Compliance Audit Functions Capital Planning Ensure financial integrity and accountability throughout the organization. Establish and monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics. Capital Projects, Renovation & Development Oversight

The CFO will provide executive leadership for capital investment planning and project governance across the resort. Responsibilities Include

Develop long-term capital investment strategies. Oversee financial planning and governance for renovation and expansion projects. Lead financial evaluation and business case development for all major capital expenditures. Monitor project budgets, timelines, risks, and return on investment. Ensure appropriate project controls and reporting mechanisms are in place. Master Site Development Planning

Participate in long-term master planning for Grey Eagle Resort & Casino lands and facilities. Evaluate future development opportunities through financial modeling and strategic analysis. Support land use planning, phased development initiatives, and infrastructure investment decisions. Provide financial leadership related to future resort expansion opportunities. Collaborate with Nation leadership, developers, consultants, and external advisors regarding future growth initiatives. Banking, Financing & Capital Structure Management

Lead relationships with financial institutions and lending partners. Develop financing strategies to support operational and capital requirements. Negotiate banking ag
