As part of CIBC’s Global Asset Management Technology, you will lead the design and implementation of cross-functional applications. This role requires expertise in enterprise data engineering and Azure, and you will enhance client experiences through high-quality solutions. Collaboration with senior team members will provide growth opportunities to expand your technical abilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain the integrity of the GAM data warehouse • Lead complex solution design activities aligned with business requirements • Conduct code reviews and hands-on development tasks • Mentor a high-performing team through indirect reporting • Collaborate with clients and business partners for application improvements
Requirements: • 8+ years in enterprise data engineering and Azure • Experience with Synapse, Databricks, and Delta Lake • Proficient in Python and Azure Data Factory • Strong knowledge of cloud security and API integration • Background in Global Asset Management is a plus
