Lead ambulance operations in Blacks Harbour with paramedic expertise, workforce oversight, and a focus on coordinated primary health care. Travel throughout New Brunswick is required.
Medavie Health Services New Brunswick seeks an Operations Manager, South Region, for the administrative area of Blacks Harbour. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will manage staff and systems, support strategic goals, and improve service levels. The position requires EMS management, leadership, and customer or patient service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and systems supporting ambulance service performance
- Share responsibility for required regional on call coverage
- Resolve customer and patient issues through effective processes
- Oversee recruitment and selection of site paramedic staff
- Promote policies, procedures, teamwork, and service improvement
Requirements:
- Approved paramedic training and New Brunswick registration
- Five years paramedic experience, including three years leadership
- Experience in EMS management, information technology, finance, and human resources
- Valid New Brunswick Class 4 driver’s license
- Leadership, communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
